Context

Context

While reviewing the token deployment flow in mintme , I identified a usability issue affecting how users select the funding source for deploying tokens.

Users could deploy a token using either:

  • Their CEX (Centralized Exchange) balance

  • A connected crypto wallet

The Problem

The Problem

the interface did not clearly indicate which funding source was currently active. Because token deployment involves real financial transactions, this ambiguity could lead to mistakes and reduced trust in the system.

The Solution

The Solution

  • Introduced a segmented control under a clear Funding Source label to make the payment decision explicit.

  • The selected option is emphasized through a strong active state using visual contrast, icon prominence, and highlighted boundaries, allowing users to instantly recognize which balance is active.

Components

New Components added

Introducing a suite of standardized, reusable UI components developed to optimize development velocity, maintain strict visual consistency, and enhance the overall cohesion of the product ecosystem
